In each city or bigger town there are several hiring agencies where you can hire a car: the cheapest one is Polonez, a Polish make; the charge is usually 90-100 zl for 24 hours plus extra payments for the kilometres you drive.

It is more expensive to hire a foreign car: it is recommended to use the services of such firms as Hertz or Avis, which are well known in Europe. The charges range from 250 to 400 or 500 zl for 24h, depending on the make of the car and the time when you hire.
